Job Summary: The Per Diem Therapist-LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist will provide behavioral health services to clients of various ages and diagnoses. Services include intakes, assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention, and discharge planning and implementation. The clinician will also perform basic administrative tasks, including, but not limited to: documentation and record keeping, information and tasks necessary for payment of services, supervision, staff meetings. These tasks will be carried out within the agency’s policy of confidentiality and with respect for the clients’ rights.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ability to provide counseling services to children, teens, adults, couples and families.
- Provision of group therapy as required.
- Participation in community outreach.
- Flexibility to work at different assigned locations and flexible hours.
- Attend meetings, trainings, supervision, presentations; ongoing attainment of knowledge, skills, and requirements to maintain active licensure
- Meet agency expectations of clinical quantitative and evaluative standards.
- Maintain accurate client records in electronic health record database and complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline and with relevant experience.
- Licensed by the State of Florida (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist)
- Knowledgeable about different therapeutic models and training in specific modalities.
- Skilled in working with resistant clients and families.
- Knowledge in trauma and bereavement.
- Able to collaborate with other disciplines and services.
- Skilled in working with couples and families
- Able to exercise good judgment.
- Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook Calendar, Excel.

- Able to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Will require sitting for an extended period of time.
- Ability to effectively use office equipment (including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, printer/copier machine) and computer systems to fulfill essential functions of the position.
- Able to lift/carry objects up to 10 pounds over short distances
- Includes meetings, driving, climbing stairs and walking to/from clients’ homes, food deliveries,
