Role Overview:
As a Remote Licensed Therapist, you'll play a vital role in addressing the behavioral health needs of our clients. Reporting to the Director of Mental and Social Wellness, you'll utilize psychotherapy to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals, couples, families, and groups via telehealth platforms. Your responsibilities will include providing psychotherapy, referring clients to appropriate services, offering support to colleagues, and upholding our mission of providing affirming and inclusive care.
Your Day-to-Day:
Conduct comprehensive psychotherapy services, including assessment and ongoing therapy sessions via video and telephone.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, collaborating with clients to set achievable goals.
Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions to support client well-being.
Offer crisis intervention as needed and collaborate with fellow professionals to optimize client care.
Maintain accurate mental health records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in community outreach efforts and educational presentations to promote mental health awareness.
Attend supervision sessions and agency meetings as required, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Advocate for clients' mental health needs and uphold our commitment to providing compassionate care.

Requirements:
Who We're Seeking:
Graduate degree in behavioral health (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) with 1 year of clinical experience
Residency in the State of Arizona
Access to a private, distraction-free space for remote therapy sessions
Active licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMRs)
Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Independent licensure by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
Experience working with LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS communities
Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English)
Environmental Factors, Physical Requirements, & Compliance:
Primarily work in a climate-controlled office environment
Extensive computer use for clinical documentation
Possible evening and weekend work
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
