Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Details
Learn to conduct analysis and design of members, connections, and systems resisting gravity and lateral forces.
Learn to work with Florida Building Code, other IBC-style codes
Use National Standards such as ASCE 7, AISC 360, and ACI 318
Utilize different building materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
Opportunity to work with a Mentor to further your learning and career advancement
Learning professional engineering responsibility to clients and to the public.
Contribute to modeling in BIM (Revit) and the production of structural drawing packages, sketches, and engineering reports
Contribute to the production of site observation reports, conditions assessments, and construction administration.
Learn to set up and perform engineering analysis and calculations including industry-leading structural analysis software packages
Assist the EOR with evaluating existing structures, and developing solutions for retrofitting & rehabilitation
Assist the PM and EOR with QAQC of work.
What Contributions Do You Bring with You?
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (required)
Graduate degree with emphasis in Structural Engineering is preferred but not required
Familiarity working with IBC-style building codes and US national standards
Knowledge of structural software suites (SAP2000, ETABS, RISA3D preferred)
Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities
Engineer Intern (EI) preferred
Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred but not required. Celtic Engineering works most often in Revit and Autocad
