Licensed Practice Nurse - Pine Ridge Service Unit, SD at Prime Physicians

Job Title: LPN

Location: Pine Ridge Service, Kyle Health Center, Wanblee health Center, Lacreek Health Center - SD

Start Date: November 2024

Duration: 6 to 12+ Months

Shift Schedule: 8- or 10-hours shift, days/nights, weekend, holiday

Qualification:

Education: highest degree attained in Nursing

Certifications: Any state RN license is acceptable

Certifications: BLS

Experience: LPN must have at least two (2) years or more experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

LPN shall work in an Out-Patient Clinic Nursing Department, but may infrequently be floated to the Emergency Room or Acute Care In-Patient units to act as a patient observer or pass medications or other intermittent care needs as staffing needs arise

• Provide patient and family education on care, diagnosis, and treatment implications.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in various settings.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records according to IHS regulations.
• Follow infection control, safety procedures, and IHS facility standards.
• Develop, adjust, and evaluate individual care plans based on patient needs and goals.
