Details:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse assists the Medical Provider in the care and treatment of New Horizon Family Health Services patients.  The LPN shall perform a variety of complex nursing tasks and related duties as required. 

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and one year of practical nursing experience in ambulatory health care setting

 Licensure/Certification:

• Must be licensed as Practical Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing
• Must be BLS CPR certified. 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with the Electronic Health Record
• Must have a working knowledge of computer programs and professional construction of emails
• Must be able to demonstrate legible handwriting, excellent spelling, and speaking clearly and grammatically correct.
• Must be a motivated and enthusiastic learner with a courteous and tactful manner.
• Must be able to work under stress and well with others
