Shift Differentials:
$1.90 (Evening), 2.75 (Night), $2.75 (Weekend Day), $4.00 (Weekend Evening), $4.75 (Weekend Night)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Horizon House is actively seeking a dynamic and driven Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)). This exciting position will work collaboratively with the nursing management and interdisciplinary team to help guide and deliver excellence in eldercare while supporting the social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the Elders they serve.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Active LPN license and in good standing with the State of Washington
• Two years of experience in nursing is preferred, new grads are welcome.
• Assisted living/skilled nursing/hospital experience, Sub-Acute/Rehab or Alzheimer’s care preferred.
• Must have experience or training in providing resident centered care with compassion while providing a safe and healthy space, treating residents with dignity and respect, and personalizing care best suited for each individual's needs. In this role you will assist and monitor assigned residents with activities of daily living based on current nursing standards of practice and with a heart for Horizon House's mission.
• Duties include Patient Assessments, medication management and indirect supervision of elder care attendants.
• WA State Food Worker Card (Due within 14 days from date of hire)
• CPR + AED - BLS Certification (Certification due within 30 days from date of hire)
• WA DSHS Dementia Specialty Training Certificate & WA DSHS Mental Health Specialty Training Certificate (We provide the resources to complete this training which is required to be completed within 90 days from your date of hire)
