APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple Licensed Practical Nurse for our client in Newark, NY for a 12/13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.
Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Pay Rate: $32 - $36/Hourly
Work Location: Newark, NY
Shift: Nights & Eve 5x8-Hour (10pm-6am & 2pm-10pm)
Hours/day: 8 Hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Licenses Requirement: LPN
Certification Requirement: BLS

Job Description:
- Provide nursing care to patients across various units or departments.
- Assess patient needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing patient care needs.
