Duties: Performs nursing care and assists with planning and implementing care for patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Maintains a safe working environment, ensures quality patient care, and maintains clinical competency.
Essential Functions:
- Participates in patient assessments and determines nursing care needs.
- Assists in developing/revising care plans under RN supervision.
- Implements care plans and communicates patient status to clinical staff.
- Organizes workload and prioritizes responsibilities for efficient patient care.
- Documents assessments, procedures, and patient education.
- Provides and evaluates patient and family education within scope of practice.
Physical Requirements: Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient conditions.
Skills: Current LPN licensure and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing required.
Schedule:
- Start Date: 04/01/2024
- Hours Per Week: 36.00
- Hours Per Day: 12.00
- Schedule: 7a-7p, every other weekend rotation
- Certification/Licensure/Experience Requirements: LPN License and BLS (AHA) required.
- Certification/Licensure/Experience Preferences: At least 1 year of experience preferred.
- Temp to Perm: Worker must be willing to convert after the contract is over. Must live within 45 minutes of the facility or be relocating.
- Sign-on Bonus: $10k for LPN (paid out in 2 increments; 90 days and 1 year).
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $5k for non-local workers.
