Compensation
Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes licensure, experience, education and site location when determining wage.
Location and Hours of Position
Green Street Primary Care: 2000 Green Street, Farrell, PA 16121
Buhl Farm Community Health Center: 220 N. Buhl Farm Dr. Hermitage, PA 16148
The general office hours for this position are Monday 8:30 AM-6:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-3:00pm. The position is located in Hermitage.

Position Overview
Medical Assistants (MA) and License Practical Nurses (LPN) assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the outpatient office setting this might include both clinical and front desk duties.
Qualifications
· Medical Assistant (MA): graduate of an approved school Medical Assistant (certification preferred) and/or two years’ experience in a clinical setting
· Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN): graduate of Licensed Practical Nurse program and licensed or eligible to take state boards.
· Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
· Administering Medication
· Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
· Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction
· Computer proficient and EMR experience
