Licensed Practical Nurse - Staff Today Inc. (STI)

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Concord, North Carolina . These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $35 / hour

Details:

• Needs 12-hour days 6:45 am – 7:15 pm every other weekend.
• Need 12 pm- 8:30 pm Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients
• Administer prescribed medications to patients

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile and/or emergency nursing practice preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
• Must have up to date credentials in the state of NC
