- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, waste disposal, and heating systems, in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan plumbing installations.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Use power tools and welding equipment to cut, bend, and join pipes as necessary.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and defects, ensuring proper function and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople (electricians, HVAC, etc.) to ensure proper coordination of construction projects.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely, efficient service to clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes and regulations.
- Licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber or equivalent certification (required).
- Proven experience in construction plumbing techniques, installations, and repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience using power tools and welding equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Experience in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures in both residential and commercial settings.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Commercial driving experience preferred.
- Basic maintenance skills for general maintenance tasks (desired but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
