Position Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following applicable laws and standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.

Current state registration/licensure in good standing.

Preferred one year of experience in post-acute care.

CPR certification required upon hire.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in community health projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Coordinate with patients and families for care planning.

Implement departmental policies and maintain confidentiality.

Exhibit professionalism and integrity.

Essential Functions:

Follow treatment plans and chart accurately.

Provide excellent customer service.

Assist in patient evacuation and demonstrate regular attendance.

Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
