Position Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following applicable laws and standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.

Current state registration/licensure in good standing.

Preferred one year of experience in post-acute care.

CPR certification required upon hire.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in community health projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Collaborate with patients, families, and support departments.

Implement treatment plans and maintain patient confidentiality.

Exhibit professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Essential Functions:

Follow treatment plans and chart progress accurately.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain regular attendance.

Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Perform physical tasks as required.
