Position Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following applicable laws and standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.Current state registration/licensure in good standing.Preferred one year of experience in post-acute care.CPR certification required upon hire.Specific Job Requirements:
Engage in community health projects.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.Coordinate with patients and families for care planning.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.Exhibit professionalism and integrity.Essential Functions:
Implement treatment plans and chart progress.Provide excellent customer service.Participate in patient evacuation as needed.Work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
