Responsibilities
- You communicate with clients, carriers, industry colleagues and other key personnel during incoming or outgoing calls that are either self- or agent-directed
- You assist with/ coordinate marketing efforts through timely distribution of applications
- You communicate policy & coverage changes, discuss/ negotiate with underwriters
- You change policy coverage based on changing needs
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years experience in the insurance industry
- Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Working knowledge and ability to competently use agency systems/ software
- Must be well-organized and operate in an organized manner
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
- Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
- Must be courteous and aware of the needs and confidentially of clients, carriers, and employees
- Capable of conflict resolution and problem solving; good negotiation skills
