Job Description

We're seeking a licensed optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services to our patients. As an optometrist with our practice, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting thorough eye exams and diagnosing vision problems

- Prescribing glasses, contact lenses, and medications as needed

- Providing pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients

- Collaborating with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals

- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry

Requirements

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution

- Current licensure to practice optometry in New Jersey

- Excellent clinical and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a private practice setting

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)

- Certification in specialized areas such as pediatric optometry or low vision
