About the Job
Our challenge:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Life Sales Agent to help grow our Allstate Insurance agency's life insurance footprint. We pay an aggressive commission structure that passes on 100% of the agency earned sales commission to the Life Agent. Agents can earn total compensation of $75k - $150k year one, but top agents can double that, as we have no caps on commissions.
The job description:
The Licensed Life Sales Agent position is an essential, customer-facing role where you engage with existing customers via proactive outreach and set appointments. You will have access to 150 new homeowners policies a month and 7000 households across 2 Allstate agencies. You will apply insurance knowledge and sales skills to increase the customers understanding of the value of life insurance. You will be on the phone talking 2+ hours per day and completing at 50+ outbound calls per day. This is a senior position that is designed to put you on a career path to a higher level in the agency and beyond. Salary Range: $75000.00 - $125000.00 per year

Responsibilities
The traits we are looking for:
- 2+ years experience in life insurance sales with a leading insurance company (experience with Lincoln, Hancock, and Protective is a major plus!)
- Current Life & Health Insurance license
- Someone who has a great attitude, outgoing personality, and who never meets a stranger
- Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in several programs at once
- A passion for helping others
- Ability to be a closer when needed to earn sales
- Drive to win and willingness to follow our proven system of success
Requirements
The core job requirements:
- Meeting new business production goals and objectives, with a minimum of 10 issued life policies per month on average
- Guiding the customer from prospect to application through underwriting to policy issue
- Strong follow-up on agency generate life leads
- Soliciting for new business from existing customer base via telephone, email, and text
- Pre-qualifying insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk
- Identifying customer insurance needs, loss exposures and gaps in coverage
- Overcoming customer objections and sales obstacles.
- Fielding questions from prospects and customers regarding insurance coverage options, policy provisions, discounts and pricing and other relevant information
- Accurately documenting customer files as to coverage discussions, quotes, declinations, and change requests
