Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with authorities to obtain required approvals and permits.
- Conducting site visits during construction to monitor progress, gather feedback, and authorize necessary changes to align with design intent.
- Reviewing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders to ensure consistency with specifications.
- Leading project team meetings to discuss technical issues, solve problems, and improve coordination across disciplines.
- Mentoring and motivating the team to meet project milestones, while identifying resource needs and opportunities for professional development.
- Serving as an advisor to leadership on best practices, resourcing, and team growth.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university
- Active registration as a Licensed Architect
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an architectural firm, including 3 years in a project leadership role
- Experience in the education sector preferred
- Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe products, MS Office, and MS Teams
