About the Job
Actsphere Insurance Group, LLC in Pearland, Texas, is looking for a goal-oriented, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude to help us sell our solid, competitive Property & Casualty insurance products as a full time Licensed Insurance Specialist. Bilingual preferred. Note: This is a hybrid opportunity for residents in the Houston-area.
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with our successful, growing agency. Every day you'll be using your strong communication, sales, and customer service skills, problem-solving, rapport-building, and time-management talents to ensure you are providing the best experience for our clients.
This position is a good fit for entry level applicants who will begin at a $45,000 base salary and can average at least an additional $15,000 in commission during their first year.
Are you an experienced insurance agent? Great! If you have prior insurance experience, we will provide the tools, environment, and opportunity for you to grow your career in the insurance business as a member of our incredible team. Experienced applicants begin with a $50,000 base salary and can average at least an additional $30,000 in commission per year.

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop insurance prospects and appropriate markets.
- Respond to referrals quickly and effectively.
- Design insurance plans and recommend coverages to clients.
- Create insurance proposals (quotes); makes sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Achieve monthly sales objectives in new business premium.
- Ensure applicant signatures are obtained via DocuSign.
- Asks for referrals and Google reviews from insureds to help generate new business.
Requirements
- Licenses Required: General Lines Property and Casualty; Life
- College education or equivalent insurance experience.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with others, to explain complex issues, to receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately.
- Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures.
- Ability to generate new business sales, retain existing business, and to close sales in insurance.
- Ability to process written and other materials visually.
