Position Title: Journeyman Electrician

Location: Butler, IN

Pay: $32-34 per hour

Per Diem: $100/day

Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team for a heavy industrial project in Butler, Indiana. The role involves running rigid conduit and performing other electrical duties on-site. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate and a per diem allowance for qualifying candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, bend, and run rigid conduit for electrical systems in a heavy industrial environment

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and other technical documents

• Ensure all wiring and electrical components comply with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on electrical systems as required

• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment

• Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

• Experience: Strong experience as a Journeyman Electrician, particularly in heavy industrial settings

• License:

• Journeyman license preferred

• Licensed Apprentices with relevant experience will be considered

• Allen County electrical license is preferred

• Skills:

• Proficient in running and installing rigid conduit

• Solid understanding of the NEC and industrial electrical codes

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, or other high structures

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and performing physical labor
