Your Role with the Company: As a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician, you will:
- Participate in walkthroughs with Fire Marshall.
- Understand Ohm Meter operation and troubleshooting.
- Perform high-level troubleshooting, testing, and system certification.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of fire alarm systems, electrical requirements, and NFPA standards.
- Know the wiring requirements and protection for fire alarm systems.
- Have exposure to suppression systems installations.
- Conduct and document proper fire alarm system testing
- Understand the basics of signal transmission, voice/alarm communication systems, surveys, maintenance, wiring, evacuation signals, and combination systems.

Background Profile:
- 2+ years’ experience installing fire alarm cabling, support structure, and equipment in a commercial environment. Inspection experience preferable.
- Hold or able to obtain a State of Texas Fire Alarm License.
- Experience in panel terminations, programming, and testing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA standards related to Fire Alarm Systems.
- Basic understanding of Ohm Meter operation.
- Safety-conscious mindset.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Excellent communicator both written and oral.
