Job description:
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally addressing client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions. Offer accurate information about insurance products, coverage details, and policy changes, ensuring clients fully comprehend their options. Assist with policy renewals, payments, claims, and related inquiries, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout.
- Policy Administration and Processing: Efficiently process policy changes, including updating client information and issuing endorsements. Verify policy details and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Generate and distribute policy documents, renewal notices, and endorsements. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve policy-related issues.
- Handle and Resolve Complaints: Address customer complaints or issues with empathy and a focus on satisfaction. Work to resolve problems promptly and effectively, maintaining positive client relationships.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized customer records, documenting all interactions, inquiries, and policy changes. Update client information in relevant databases to ensure data integrity. Prepare reports and maintain statistics related to customer service activities.
- Insurance Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, products, regulations, and best practices. Explain policy terms, conditions, and exclusions to clients, helping them make informed decisions. Maintain an active 4-40 Customer Representative License, staying compliant with continuing education requirements and regulatory changes.
- Other Responsibilities: Perform essential job functions as required or assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Requirements:
- Must have a 4-40 license and customer service background.
- Must be MS Office and MS Excel proficient.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background check required.
- Credit check required.
