Our client is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services and support to the community. Their mission is to foster independence, stability, and wellness for the highest-risk children and youth within their cultural, community, and family contexts. Currently, they are looking to add a Licensed Clinician to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$80k – $110k Annually (Dependent on clinical experience and bilingual language skills)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinician to support high-risk children and youth (ages 6 – 21). The Licensed Clinician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide community-oriented, strengths-based services.
Responsibilities of the Licensed Clinician:
- The licensed Clinician would provide leadership in the development and evaluation of individualized service plans.
- Conduct individual, group, couples, family, and multi-family therapy utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
- Coordinate and facilitate youth services in collaboration with referring providers, probation, child welfare, school districts, and other professionals.
- Assist youth and families in assessing strengths and needs, enhancing natural supports, and utilizing community resources.
- Provide case management services, secure formal resources, and coordinate care.
- Provide psycho-education to clients, family members, and team members.
- Complete documentation, billing, referrals, and required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential health records that are compliant with HIPAA and local regulations.
Qualifications for the Licensed Clinician:
- Bilingual – English/Spanish is preferred.
- Clinical license eligible (registration with BBS/BOP as an Intern, e.g., PCCi, MFTi, ASW, Psychological Assistant).
- Ability to assess the strengths and needs of youth, families, and support systems.
- Knowledge of public and private community resources.
- Ability to maintain billable documentation of services provided.
- Experience working with children and families in diverse cultural contexts.
- Experience in various treatment modalities, including family systems work, individual, and group therapy.
- Awareness of substance abuse issues and their impact on family systems.
- Valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Availability to work evenings.
Education Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
