About the Job
Duties:
- Seeking a experienced LCSW, to conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address clients' mental health concerns.
- Document client progress and treatment interventions in accordance with medical documentation standards.
- Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
- Provide addiction counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques in mental health counseling.
- Provide counseling services to individuals with special education needs or developmental disabilities.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in behavioral health interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping.
- Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to handle high-stress situations.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with various mental health counseling modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or solution-focused therapy.
- Understanding of special education systems and ability to provide counseling services to individuals with special needs.
- Proficient in motivational interviewing techniques to promote behavior change.
- Strong research skills to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health.
