Pay Range: $29.36 - $47.79 per hour
Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
Summary:
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is a key member of the Rush University System for Health community. This position provides social work services for student at a Rush school-based health center within a Chicago public high school. This position may address complex issues from a variety of referral sources and connects those patients and community members to relevant resources both internal to rush and in the community. This position supports relevant programming for the aforementioned population also and may serve as a representative of their department in meetings and presentations. This position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops a comprehensive plan of care for the patient and/or family
2. Works directly with patients and their families to address complex issues that arise from unmet needs and provide the necessary social
work services them achieve their care goals.
3. Connects patients and their families to relevant resources, both at Rush and in the community, to address their needs.
4. Provides care management and/or support programming for aforementioned population as outlined by Manager.
5. Documents all client interactions in either the Epic, LCM software and/or other spaces as indicated by Manager.
6. Maintains relationships with referring Rush clinics through consistent and timely communication.
7. Promotes Rush University System for Health clinical services by referring clients to relevant Rush clinics.
8. Leverages experience to support team members in training, crisis management, etc. as needed.
9. Represents the department at meetings, conferences or other public engagements on an as-needed basis.

Required Job Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Illinois.
• 4 years’ experience in healthcare, care management, mental health and/or social services.
• Clinical experience with relevant population(s).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong active listening, critical thinking, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Shows acceptance of each person and their life journey.
• Ability to approach clients and workplace from a trauma-informed and health equity lens.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Experience providing clinical supervision.
• Experience with evidenced-based interventions.
• Experience with high risk and/or complex populations.
• Professional qualities such as initiative, self-reflection, commitment, responsiveness and adaptability.
• Strong planning and implementation skills, including problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
