Apply today!About the Job:Title: Licensed Clinical Social WorkerPay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour (depending on experience)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pmDuration: 6-month contract with potential for long-term placementStart Date: ASAPLocation: Dublin, CaliforniaBenefits:Potential for contract extension and long-term placementCommunity outreach opportunitiesGreat working locationHealth insuranceRefer-a-friend bonusWeekly payroll24-hour accessibilityPersonalized serviceRequirements:CA Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)Minimum 6 months of full-time social work experience in behavioral health or providing clinical/case management servicesMasters degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, counseling, nursing, or related fieldElectronic charting experienceValid and current CA Motor Vehicle Operator's licenseExperience in mental health, specifically with schizophreniaPreferred:Previous work experience in a detention facility (highly preferred)Previous experience and knowledge of the CARE program (highly preferred)National Provider Identifier (NPI) - must have prior to startCompletion of the "Medicare Enrollment Process for Physicians and Non-Physician Practitioners" through CMS - must have prior to startEnrollment in the Provider Application and Validation for Enrollment (PAVE) web portal - must have prior to startRequired Abilities/Skills:Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, community resources, and organizationsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsAnalytical and decision-making abilitiesExcellent report writing and communication skillsAbility to work with a diverse population and establish effective working relationshipsKnowledge of current theories, principles, and practices for clients with serious behavioral health symptoms and diagnosesUnderstanding of psychological diagnostic methods and terminologyFamiliarity with cultural and social factors affecting behavior patternsKnowledge of wellness, recovery, and resiliency-oriented strategies and supportsExpertise in dual recovery/co-occurring disorder treatment, screening, and assessment toolsAwareness of community needs, resources, and organizations related to behavioral health careProficiency in computer applications related to the workResponsibilities:Provide clinical and case management services to Behavioral Health Clinic Services clientsConduct initial and ongoing psychosocial strength-based assessmentsDevelop and implement treatment plansConduct individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessionsProvide education on behavioral health care symptoms and medication rolesPrepare and maintain psychosocial case historiesProvide crisis intervention and stabilize clients in crisisMaintain records in accordance with Quality Assurance standardsPrepare reports, case summaries, and other written materialsTestify in court as requiredConduct mental status examinations and formulate DSM-IV related diagnosesCollaborate with other departments and agenciesProvide education and consultation services to Alameda County departments and the communityMay provide direction and assistance to Behavioral Health Clinicians I and graduate internsServe as a liaison to other community agenciesConduct assessments and mental status exams for incarcerated individuals under CARE Court ordersAbout Us:Power Personnel has been partnering with healthcare professionals like you since 1994.
