Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Behavior Consultant ABA (BC-ABA) to plan, develop, and monitor behavioral support services to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as well as other behavioral disorders, all utilizing the science of Applied Behavioral Analytics. Primary duties include developing and overseeing the implementation of formal behavior management plans, conducting functional behavioral assessments, and data collection. The Behavior Consultant ABA also collaborates with caregivers, teachers, and other service providers, as well as provides training and direct support to Behavioral Health Technicians.Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time AvailabilityLocation: Allentown & Easton, PAProgram: IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services)Pay Rate: $32 /hourJob Functions:

- Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures
- Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor
- Complete 16 hours of Department of Human Services-approved training yearly
- Complete all additional required training as per Professional Development Plan
- Submit to Human Resources promptly copies of all required documentation regarding degrees, licenses, certifications, clearances, and formal training
- Provide clinical, mobile service delivery as defined by the program description, and best practice standards and in full compliance with licensure standards
- Collect outcome data (i.e., Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), ATEC) for all clients at times of service re-authorization
- Provide quality mobile services in line with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) standards
- Maintain quality documentation of clinical ABA service delivery
- Maintain quality documentation of other clinical service delivery
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives
- Provide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, promptly
- Submit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentation
- Conduct assessments of all new IBHS clients on his/her caseload
- Develop and oversee of implementation of behavior management plans
- Provide crisis assessment and behavioral stabilization services as necessary
- Provide case consultation to BHTs providing services on all shared cases and for other staff as required by the Coordinator
- Provide clinical consultation to parents, extended family, teachers, and other adult caregivers regarding prescribed behavioral interventions
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
- Provide complete, accurate information regarding the frequency, intensity, and duration of both target behaviors and suggested replacement behaviors in Functional Behavior Assessments
- Participate in 1 hour of individual face-to-face supervision monthly, as well as all applicable program staff meetings
- Possess knowledge of the principles and implementation of conducting a functional behavioral assessment
- Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment
- Increase the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to known reinforcers
Minimum Requirements:Education/Experience/Licensure (Must Meet One of the Following Criteria):
- Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, and have a BC-ABA certification
- Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, and have a minimum of 1 year of Full-time experience providing ABA services with a minimum of 12 credits from an accredited college or university
- Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, and have a minimum of 1 year of Full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a person with a BCBA and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA-approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Be licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA-approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
