- Job Summary
- Primarily within the acute behavioral health inpatient unit, engage with patients, treatment team, and staff to address challenging behavior and develop/implement individualized behavior plans and interventions to enhance a child’s ability to function in their daily environment. Primary diagnoses may include Neurodevelopmental Disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Impulse Control Disorder and Psychotic Disorder
- Schedule and manage athletic trainer event coverage for all city school athletic events.
- Education
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience
- Preferred 2 years’ experience working with children diagnosed with developmental delay.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Alabama at the start of employment
Location: Children's of Alabama · Behavioral Health Inpatient Ireland Center
Schedule: Full-time, Day/Evening shift, varies
