Job Details
Multifamily Project Manager
Supervise and execute all architectural tasks from initial design to construction completion, ensuring design consistency throughout the process.
Collaborate with the Principal to devise and implement project design concepts.
Develop project programs and initial design concepts, working with the team to refine them through various project phases.
Utilize computer-aided drafting software (Revit) or traditional methods to gather and assemble information for producing designs, drawings, schedules, and details.
Coordinate with all stakeholders to integrate information into project documents.
Assist in establishing project goals, layouts, and specifications, while also monitoring labor budgets and identifying deviations.
Collaborate with the team to compile construction documents and submit applications to relevant authorities.
Stay abreast of zoning codes, building regulations, and environmental laws.
Fulfill additional responsibilities such as site visits, code research, etc.
Manage and mentor junior staff, utilizing project management software for monitoring project progress.
Offer insights on industry trends and contribute to big-picture design ideas.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
15+ years of experience in a professional office setting, with extensive involvement in various project types and phases preferred.
Architectural License is desirable.
Proficiency in Revit, CADD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel.
Advocate for innovative software utilization across all mentioned platforms.
Excellent listening, oral/verbal, and written communication skills, coupled with strong time management and organizational abilities.
Proficient in reading comprehension for understanding work-related documents.
Ability to apply industry standards and graphic conventions to organize information effectively, such as plans, elevations, and sections.
Expertise in design and adept at identifying complex problems, brainstorming solutions, and reviewing related information.
Capable of using logic and reasoning to evaluate potential outcomes and implement effective solutions.
Skillful in understanding the implications of new information for both present and future problem-solving and decision-making processes.
