License Master Electrician - Louisa County ($5,000 Bonus)

SUMMARY:
· Perform all electrical functions, including troubleshooting and repair.
· Provide technical support for all phases of operation.
· Be proficient in multiple skill clusters, covering:
o Electrical controls
o Fluid power
o Mechanical systems
o Manufacturing processes
o Electrical control panels, transformers, power distribution systems, motors, and motor control devices
· Ensure safety standards for self and food safety.
· Maintain food safety, quality, and legality.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Education:
o High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
o Preferred: Associate degree in electronic technology or closely related technical field.
o Alternative: Combination of education and experience, including skilled trade programs, military training, etc.
· Experience:
o Minimum 4 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Controls.
· Computer Skills:
o Competent in Windows-based software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
o Proficient in document organization, using templates, and creating simple queries.
o Must be or become proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance.
· Communication Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication with all levels, from hourly Team Members to management and government officials.
o High-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Certification:
o Valid electrician's license as required by state or local regulations.
· Special Skills:
o Good safety and attendance record; strong interpersonal skills.
o Skills in AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems, electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures.
o Knowledge of electronic devices such as industrial semiconductors, solid-state drives, and control systems.
o PLC systems operation and data collection instrumentation experience.
o Skills in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems (bearings, gears, clutches, belts, seals).
o Ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
o Electrical construction experience, project management skills for writing scopes, adhering to NEC Standards, and maintaining Tyson Standards.
o Background in instrumentation.
· Preferred Skills:
o Basic microcomputer skills for understanding operation and interfacing of microprocessors.
o Experience in PLC operation, including system configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.
o Skills in electronic motor drive technologies (servo-motors, encoders, tachometers, closed-loop systems, etc.).
· Travel: 1-5 trips per year outside the assigned location.
