Lia CJDR Northampton - Automotive Service Technician(s)- Level III - The Lia Group

Lia CJDR Northampton is seeking a Level 3 Automotive Technician to join our team. Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies & equipment including service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $60K-$120K+

SIGN ON BONUS: Available up to $10,000 based experience, certifications & qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience required
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience required
• State Inspection certification required
• WiTech Certification Preferred
• ASE Certification recommended
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have clean & valid driver's license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
