Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY SHIFT OFFICERS in Nassau County, NY.

Locations & Shifts:

Hewlett (Mobile): Thursday-Friday 0000-0600/Saturday-Sunday 1800-0000 Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.

Old Westbury: Saturday-Monday 2300-0700 Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.

Old Westbury: Friday-Saturday 2300-0700 Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.

Old Westbury (mobile): Thursday-Sunday 2300-0700 Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.

Old Westbury: Saturday-Sunday 1500-2300 Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.

Old Westbury(mobile): Monday-Friday 1500-2300 Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.

Old Westbury(mobile): Saturday-Sunday 0700-1500 Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.

UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager

SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Military experience a plus
• Protective security experience a plus.
