- Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or
other prescribing medical professional

- Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to
patients

- Positioning patients properly to take the necessary
images

- Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance
imaging

- Examining images to ensure they re usable

- Updating patient medical information

- Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment

- Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders
for supply restocks as required
