Job Description
Loan Protection Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Review GAP Services Application (*** 298A) for completeness and accuracy to determine if additional information and/or supporting documentation is required from the member.
- Process *** 298A's and make decisions within established guidelines and policies by transfer, finance, cancel, refinance or to send a letter for incorrect *** 298's received.
- Research, analyze and resolve *** 298A discrepancies.
- Receive guidance and instructions from Loan Protection supervisors regarding complex issues that are beyond scope for your review.
- Maintain detailed records and contact history information on each member interaction and actions taken on your excel spreadsheet.
- Communicate with members via eMessage for *** 298A questions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in progressively responsible administrative work.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions.
- Effective database, word processing, and spreadsheet software skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
