The Legal Staff Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of legal secretaries and clerks, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of work quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have substantial civil litigation experience, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily activities of legal secretaries and clerks.
- Coordinate assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for staff.
- Implement and maintain effective office policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with attorneys to support case management and trial preparation.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of legal documents and correspondence.
- Handle staff scheduling and leave requests.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team.
- Stay updated on legal trends and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or a related field.
