Pitzer Snodgrass is looking for a Legal Secretary to join our downtown St. Louis firm.
As a Legal Secretary, you'll be at the heart of our operations, providing crucial support to our growing law firm and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. From managing schedules and organizing meetings to drafting correspondence and assisting with legal research, you'll be an integral part of our growing team, helping us deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage attorney's calendar and schedule appointments.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist with file management and document organization (experience with NetDocuments a plus)
- Collaborate with team members to support firm-wide initiatives and projects
- Reviews, analyzes and responds to e-mails and incoming mail.
- Prepare motion calendar.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong organizational abilities with an eye for detail and effective time management.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent grammar, typing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (Tabs, Centerbase or similar software a plus)
- Three to five years of related experience.
- Prior experience in law firm a plus.
