About the Job
Our client is seeking a highly organized and professional Legal Secretary to join their team. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy legal office, assisting with various administrative tasks and legal processes.
- Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate personnel
- Greeting visiting constituents and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Processing data and information into NYMatters system
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery
- Assisting with litigation support, including document preparation and filing
- Helping coordinate outreach events and managing related activities
- Performing various administrative duties as needed to support the legal team
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical Degree or Certificate Program in related field preferred
- Proficiency with office software and legal management tools (experience with NYMatters a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
