Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Legal Secretary- Real Estate for our law firm client in Bloomfield Hills on a direct hire basis.

Hybrid -4 days in office for the first 90 days. 3 days in the office after that.

Summary
The Real Estate Legal Assistant t will provide administrative support to Real Estate attorneys and clients, requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of transactions. This role involves working closely with attorneys and collaborating with other assistants and secretaries to meet firm and client needs.

Duties:

Document Preparation: Prepares, revises, and finalizes documents (e.g., contracts, leases, and closing binders) using Firm software. Proofreads and formats transaction documents, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Administrative Support: Coordinates with internal departments (Records, Ethics, Accounting, Central Services, Travel, etc.) to support attorneys and clients. Manages travel, calendar maintenance, and billing.
Closing Binder Preparation: Prepares and formats closing binders for real estate transactions. Ensures document accuracy and compliance with Firm standards. Opportunities for advancement with strong performance.
Client Service and Teamwork: Organizes workflow, collaborates with colleagues, and meets Firm/client goals. Fosters professional, cooperative relationships and anticipates needs.
Professional Demeanor: Upholds Firm policies and client service standards. Maintains confidentiality with discretion and professionalism.

File Maintenance: Maintains organized electronic and paper files in compliance with Firm policies.

Qualifications:

Four-year college degree or requisite experience.
Must possess superior digital proficiency with a commitment to technological growth.
Must multitask and prioritize a demanding workflow in a deadline driven environment.
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, Nuance and the document management systems is essential.
Must apply critical thinking and sound judgment to solve problems.
Must conduct oneself in a highly professional and reliable manner; must exhibit confidence, integrity and composure in all professional interactions.
