Legal Secretary - Direct Counsel, LLC

Direct Counsel is seeking a Legal Secretary to join a great boutique law firm in their South Bar offices. The law firm is a well-established plaintiff’s personal injury firm located in El Segundo. We are seeking a motivated and experienced civil litigation legal secretary (minimum 10 years). The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented and have experience in personal injury.

Requirements

• Litigation deadlines, including motion opposition and response deadlines
• Drafting pleadings and discovery
• Filing in state and federal courts
• Calendaring and coordinating witness and expert depositions
• Drafting correspondence
• Litigation legal secretary would work directly with two team oriented attorneys and be required to communicate directly with clients and legal offices and their staff on calendaring and other scheduling matters.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
