MUST:
Experienced Paralegal
3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on personal injury and medical malpractice cases
1+ years experience with e-filing in Maryland through MDEC, and federal courts through PACER
1+ years experience using FileVine
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
DUTIES:
Assist attorneys in all phases of case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and court appearances
Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel
Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies
Assist with trial preparation, including creating exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
Maintain and update case management databases and systems
Handle administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones and managing mail
