WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A LEGAL INTAKE SPECIALIST
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, social work, or related field
- Certification as a paralegal from an accredited program OR a current social service worker license
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a legal or client support role
- Strong knowledge of client procedures and law firm expectations
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls and maintain detailed records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of empathy, patience, compassion, and problem-solving abilities
DAY-TO-DAY
As a Legal Intake Specialist, you will spend your days conducting legal interviews and providing support to clients, including document preparation and correspondence. You will speak with clients to gather relevant information, perform intake assessments, and maintain accurate case records. Additionally, you will handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy, addressing client inquiries and maintaining confidentiality.
