About the Job
As the Legal Executive Assistant, you will support client development initiatives and project-based tasks in the DC office of a large international law firm. You will play an important part in tackling administrative tasks that enhance the team’s effectiveness and exceed client expectations. In addition to assisting with engaging legal work and helping attorneys finalize critical documents, you will also coordinate meetings and events. This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to get law firm experience and build essential office skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to a team of highly active attorneys.
- Prepare documents for upcoming meetings, track approaching deadlines, and ensure proper documentation for case management.
- Coordinate team schedules, including arranging detailed, point-to-point travel itineraries.
- Prepare and process expense reports and maintain accurate records of receipts.
- Assist with various administrative tasks and conduct ad hoc research projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of previous administrative support experience, preferably in a law office.
- Writing and editing expert. You clearly express ideas in writing and spot grammatical errors in documents. Strong writing and editing skills are essential.
- Detailed. You understand how critical quality work is to a legal case. Organization and an eye for detail are key.
