Legal Counsel (Contracts) - Daley and Associates

Contracts Counsel - Investment Management - Boston - Hybrid - Base Salary up to $200k + bonus

We are currently seeking candidates for a Contracts Counsel opportunity with a top-tier Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. The Contracts Counsel will draft, review, revise, and negotiate general and complex corporate agreements. 

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate corporate agreements, including NDAs, SaaS agreements, subscriptions, market data agreements, leases, engagement letters with auditors, consulting agreements, data protection agreements, fund operations agreements, employment search agreements, and event agreements.
• Counsel internal clients on contract disputes with vendors, and work closely with senior leaders to develop solutions and settlements.
• Review long-term and short-term lease agreements for the organization.
• Maintain strong understanding of risk tolerance of functions throughout the firm.
• Create and maintain standard contract terms to reflect the needs of each department.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to create standard contract templates (as needed).
• Contribute to high-priority and high-visibility corporate policy initiatives, operations, and vendor relationships.
• Support special projects, additional legal matters, and general corporate proceedings as needed.
• Provide legal support for new office openings throughout the United States and international jurisdictions.
• Identify, address, and resolve complex legal and compliance issues throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of post-JD experience working in commercial contracts
• Licensed in MA
