Legal Billing Specialist - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked national Law Firm to find a Legal Billing Specialist to join the firms growing team in Fairfax, VA.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the billing process for legal services provided to clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely invoicing.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and review detailed billing invoices for legal services, ensuring compliance with client agreements, billing guidelines, and internal policies.
• Assist in reconciling client billing discrepancies, reviewing time entries, and ensuring accurate recording of billable hours and expenses.
• Work with attorneys and timekeepers to ensure accurate time entries are submitted in a timely manner, and review for accuracy.
• Liaise with clients regarding billing inquiries, payment terms, and outstanding balances, providing exceptional customer service.
• Coordinate the billing cycle, including tracking and managing deadlines for billing submissions, finalizing billing reports, and ensuring timely invoicing.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Legal Billing experience
• Proficiency in legal billing softwares (i.e. Aderant, Elite, etc.)
