No-Fault Legal Assistant (5 years of experience)

We seek an experienced No-Fault Legal Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of law firm experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for performing various tasks concurrently while maintaining accuracy and a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and can prioritize multiple assignments under tight deadlines. In addition, this person should be proactive, collaborative, and ready to jump in and support the team when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to multiple attorneys by understanding and adapting to their unique workflows and preferences.
• Prepare, edit, format, and proofread legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and other pleadings.
• Perform electronic filing of documents on court websites (ECF/NYSCEF/AAA).
• Coordinate and manage attorneys' calendars, including scheduling meetings, conference calls, and Zoom sessions.
• Open new matters using Intapp and prepare retainer agreements and relevant documents.
• Enter case progression information into Time Matters for No-Fault matters.
• Record daily attorney billable time in iTimekeep.
• Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, copying, scanning, and submitting expenses via Chrome River.
• Typing proficiency of 55 words per minute with advanced Microsoft Word skills.
• Manage a variety of tasks while ensuring that priorities are met and deadlines are respected.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of law firm experience, preferably in No-Fault litigation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
