Legal Assistant / Secretary at Matura Farrington

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant for a prominent firm in the San Diego area. This position involves managing litigation documents, conducting legal research, and assisting attorneys with case preparation. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining conference room schedules, setting up meetings, and ensuring a well-organized office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and discovery materials.
• Assist attorneys with case management and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, including managing conference room logistics.
• Maintain organized files and records for easy access and retrieval.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the office operations.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as a legal assistant preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Compensation:

$75k - $85k depending on relevant experience.
