About the Position: The Firm seeks a seasoned legal assistant in the area of family law to provide support for two attorneys. The position will be located in our Pleasanton office.

Responsibilities Include: Primarily an administrative function, resposibilities for this role include document management of incoming/outgoing mail, correspondence and court filings, submitting/processing e-filing of court documents (Green Filing), calendar management (including calendaring filing deadlines, hearings, conferences, etc.), processing Proof of Services, performing conflict checks, maintaining dockets, and additional general administrative assistant and office responsibilities. Must have experience with word processing (Microsoft Office) and document management.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years law firm experience supporting multiple attorneys in the area of family law.
• Advanced knowledge of California Civil Procedure and filing in California State Courts.
• Experience with the California Courts E-Filing system, One Drive, and Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Experience with document management and highly organized.
• Team player in a professional environement.
• Proactive attitude, excellent judgment and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize projects and work under pressure with various deadlines.
• Flexibility to work overtime (if needed).
