Legal Assistant - Personal Injury Law Firm - Speaks Law Firm

This role is a critical part of the pre-litigation team. The candidate will  be responsible for timely management of office correspondence, assisting with a multi-line phone system, and ordering medical and billing records. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Sorting and disbursing incoming mail and faxes
• Requesting medical records and bills
• Data entry into Needles Neos 
• Scheduling, organizing, and other administrative tasks
• Answering calls and ensuring proper message delivery
• Candidate must have the ability to organize their time effectively
• Positive demeanor as a team player 

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office products
• A desire to work in a law firm setting
• Organizational and communication skills are necessary for this position
• Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications

• An Associate’s degree or some college is preferred
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a personal injury law firm or equivalent experience

Compensation expectation is $15 - $19 hourly
