Legal Assistant/ Paralegal:
Fast growing NJ law firm handles a variety of practice areas, including family law, estate planning and administration, real estate and civil litigation in NY and NJ. We are looking for a remote worker to assist with various tasks. Must be honest, reliable and an independent worker. References are required and will be contacted after your interview. Willing to consider candidates to work part-time or full-time.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to lawyers
Handle communication for scheduling of meetings and court
Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
Monitor deadlines
Skills:
Prior experience as legal assistant or legal secretary in NY or NJ (REQUIRED)
Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a law firm
Microsoft Word and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Capable of working independently
