Our client is a well-know litigation law firm conveniently located in Midtown. They are adding a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to their commercial business litigation unit. Responding candidates must have excellent MSW skills including marking and generating TOAs and TOCs in addition to E-filing in State and Federal Court. Paralegal tasks are also needed for this role including E-Discovery. The new hire will be part of a team that support multiple litigation attorneys and must be well versed in preparing correspondence, pleadings, preparing cites and filing procedures. In addition, they must have experience speaking with clients, courts, and adversary counsel, handling the calendar along with being familiar other general litigation procedures. This is a hybrid role with three days required in the office and two remote workdays.
